Intake session:

$500 for a 50 minute intake. (This fee may wil increase in an extended evalation and record review.)

Combined 50 minutes therapy and medication management: $500.

Medication management follow up (25 minutes) $375

I will provide a detailed receipt for services rendered that can you submit your insurance company for reimbursement.

Additional Fees
Additional charges may apply for services not typically reimbursed by insurance, including but not limited to:

  • Collateral contacts
  • Prior authorizations
  • Reports to outside providers
  • Subpoenas and court testimony

Insurance

  • In-network with BCBS (including out-of-state plans) and the Aetna BU Student Health Plan (SHIP)
  • For all other insurers, I work with patients who have out-of-network benefits as well as those who are self-pay
  • For out-of-network patients, I bill insurance directly, and patients are responsible for the difference between the appointment fee and the amount reimbursed
  • I always provide receipts (“superbills”) for insurance and HSA claims

Common CPT Codes

90792 – Psychiatric evaluation and management (intake)
90836 / 90833 – Psychotherapy with medication management (45 or 25 minutes)
90846 / 90847 – Family therapy (with or without patient present)
99212, 99213, 99214 – Outpatient medical visits (billed according to complexity)
Most visits are billed as a combination of outpatient medical visit + psychotherapy.
